Nexovate Online Application

Overview

A multi-tenant student admissions portal, built for institutions to run an application cycle end to end — from account activation and programme choice through to payment, document upload and screening. Its first deployment is the College of Nursing Sciences Monguno, handling applications for the 2026/2027 session into National Diploma (ND) in Nursing, Community Midwifery and Community Nursing. I worked on the application across the Turborepo monorepo, which pairs a Next.js App Router frontend with a Nest.js API.

Key Features

Guided application flow

Applicants activate an account with a phone number, log in, pay, choose a programme, enter their O'Level credentials and upload a passport photograph — each step gated so an application cannot be submitted incomplete.

Payment and screening

Remita payments are taken inline and confirmed by webhook, so an application only advances once the payment provider has acknowledged it. Screening outcomes reach applicants by SMS rather than requiring them to check back.
